Full description
Our camel ride in Agadir begins as soon as you mount the animal. The camel’s swaying gait, the soft sound of its hooves in the sand, the scent of coastal scrub as the air cools. We’ll pick you up at your accommodation in Agadir. You’ll arrive at the site where the camels are waiting calmly, lined up in a row. A guide helps you mount, adjusts the straps, and signals the start.
What to expect on the Agadir camel ride
The experience lasts about 3 hours, including pick-up. The pace is deliberately slow. It is the camel’s stride that sets the pace, not the other way around.

Sunset during the camel ride
As the camel ride through Agadir continues, the light begins to fade. The horizon takes on shades of ochre and red as the day draws to a close on the Atlantic coast. Once you dismount, you’ll head to a Berber lounge set up for dinner. Low benches, rugs, and wooden tables. A traditional multi-course dinner is served there. Slow-cooked tagines, couscous, and grilled meats prepared on-site, before returning to your accommodation.
Who is this camel ride in Agadir for?
No specific physical fitness is required. The animal walks on flat ground, and the guide stays close by the entire time. This activity is not accessible to people in wheelchairs. Guided in French, English, or Arabic. The ride is also suitable for families with children. It’s a wonderful introduction to discovering Agadir in a different way-at the animal’s eye level-without the crowds.
Team Tip
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Sand and dust are common along the way. Bring a light jacket for the cool breeze that sets in at sunset. To experience two different atmospheres during your stay in Agadir, also try a quad bike tour in Taghazout-faster-paced and more rugged, offering a different kind of thrill.

Customer reviews
The ride was overall very smooth and the guides were nice and reassuring if it was your first time or worried. We did the BBQ afterward the food was good, I loved the chicken and the sausage. I think it would be better if they would tell you a bit about the camel, like its name and how old it is. As well as talk you through the area your walking in any history it may have.
