Your hot air balloon flight in Agadir begins before sunrise, with a sharp crack from the burner. At dawn, the basket rises above the Souss plain, and the Atlantic coast comes into view below in the early morning light. This is not a quick fly-by: a full 60 minutes above the argan trees, cultivated fields, and villages just waking up.
The itinerary of your Agadir hot air balloon flight
The experience begins early in the morning to take advantage of the most stable conditions. Our pilots prepare the balloon right in front of you, from cold inflation to the final ascent.
- Pickup at your hotel in Agadir very early in the morning (around 5-6 a.m. depending on the season)
- Transfer by 4x4 to the launch site in the Souss plain

What you’ll see during the Agadir hot air balloon flight
The Souss Plain stretches from the Atlantic to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. From the basket, you’ll see the Atlantic coast to the south, argan trees dotting the cultivated fields, the douars (villages) coming to life, and, weather permitting, the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas on the horizon. The light of dawn reveals the colors of the land and the crops.
Who is this experience for?
The flight is available to children aged 6 and up accompanied by an adult, and to seniors of any age without specific physical limitations (climbing into the gondola requires a small step). Tip from the team
Dress in layers: the air is cool on the ground before the flight, but warmer at altitude thanks to the heat from the burner. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for landing. Bring a camera: the moment the basket rises is worth capturing.
